高耸入云的陡峭山脉上，就在一对情侣滑翔爱好者开始了他们的浪漫滑翔之旅的时候，不幸发生了：那名女子由于没有把握好风向而挂在了峭壁上。惯性的撞击已让她近乎昏迷，膝盖更是受伤严重。117再次出动，与地面呈直角的峭壁使得救援工作异常困难，然而彼得还是成功地解救了被困女子。不幸的是，虽经麦克尔等人全力抢救，她还是停止了心跳。队员们为自己没能挽救生命而万分沮丧，那名男子得知后更是悲痛欲绝，浪漫滑翔竟成生死之别，他把所有的怨恨发到了救援队队员身上。
