A frustrated and unemployed architect experiences flashbacks of his youth and 1968 protests while the life passes by. Unable to adapt and to accept the reality, he's constantly getting into conflicts with the people around him.
Marija is an ice skater who lives with her father, a lorry driver, on the outskirts of Belgrade. Crushed by grief because her mother died three years ago, Marija cannot express her flaming sexuality without feeling unworthy. When Marija’s father gets close to a woman and moves in with her two daughters, Marija supports him but realizes that she cannot trust her new stepmother.

The character in this film tries to live his life in 30 sequences. He's a young man who's impressible by any atmosphere, which makes him different from others, he's like a plant that's different from others, a mole that wants to escape from his skin. He loves, hates, eats, drinks, he's sick, he laughs, cries, kisses, plays. It's the agony of a young man in our times.
