这个故事中的事实都是一些医生向我们讲述的。有的是他们的亲身经历，有的则是他们亲眼所见，因此，影片中的事绝大部分都是真实的。为了避免由于完全真实的描写而暴露了当事人，从而使向我们讲述这些事情的人处于极为尴尬的境地，在许多场合我们都作了修改。
然而，在本片中那种在一般电影里都有的“故事和人物都是虚构的，其中任何一点要是和现实生活里的真人真事有所相似之处都应看作是偶然的巧合”的一贯说法，决非是必要的。尽管本片故事并不完全真实，但是对它做些修改也是出于最起码的礼貌。
医生顾问处对本片在医院里所进行的人物对话和活动大部分都作了检查审定。我们在影片拍摄过程中将依据每组镜头的需要，尤其在医疗技术方面继续进行了这一检查工作。
总之，我们的目的是想反映一些医生的工作，反映他们面对工作中出现的问题所采取的不同态度，反映当前阿根廷医生中存在的许许多多的问题。在现实生活里，...
